16/04/2016: An estimated 150,000 people marched through Central London to protest against government austerity policies which are having serious impacts on public health, housing, employment, wages and education. Organised by The People's Assembly, the "March for Health, Homes, Jobs & Education" protesters represented junior doctors, nurses, NHS workers, teachers, students, firefighters, disability rights and welfare rights campaigners, local government employees and a wide cross section of aggrieved citizens who claim that they are being unjustly impoverished by an uncaring Conservative government which is purposefully dismantling public services and handing them to private capital to fund tax relief for the wealthiest.
An extra post-Panama Papers data leak flavour prevailed at the protest with many people carrying "Dodgy Dave" placards - a reference to Prime Minister David Cameron's recent painfully drawn-out admission over four days that he has personally benefitted from the use of offshore tax havens set up by his late father.

Bankers (´・ω・`) rhymes with wankers! Hooray! <--- I was inebriated when I made this. A little more explanation is needed. The name comes from monopoly en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rich_Uncle_Pennybags & I totally bit the idea from a Czech or Slovak book cover ajourneyroundmyskull.blogspot.com/2010/04/czechoslovakian...

1/5/10 - London, UK. International Worker's Day protest, with four parades converging on Parliament Square, largely protesting the upcoming general election and the banking sector's grip on mainstream politics and politicians.
The protest, once gathered in Parliament Square, was monitored by Metropolitan Police helicopter.
Dinner at Next Door Shelter - 2 of the smallest hot dogs (cold, undercooked) with stale hamburger bun, balsa wood fruit cup and an okay salad. The condiments were okay but no lids on the top of the containers (right underneath that nasty dripping blakc water ceiling). Staff made anyone without a cane hobble up to get their own trays 'if you ain't got a cane you ain't handicapped... git up and git ya own tray, shit.' We saw elderly men with the shakes or bad balance carry trays back to their tables. Spilling their food and water cups, as they go... humiliating and degrading. Where is the humanity ? Tax dollars pay for this kind of abuse and lack of caring.
A giant banner which reads "#Balls2TheBudget" is unfurled across the width of Westminster Bridge, blocking traffic in both directions.

Breakfast at Next Door Shelter. Episcopal Community Services. Mixed sugary, stale tasting cereal with powdered milk half mixed. Old fruit cup and coffee. We checked the cans the fruit cup came out of... they had rusty stains on the inside of the large cans. No fresh milk or juice served. No trays today.
My thoughts: This comic looks like it'll be worth my time and I'm actually thinking about checking it out. I enjoyed the RoboCop movie, so I pretty much know what to expect.
Dynamite Dispatches description: Dynamite Entertainment proudly presents the dynamic debut of Robocop by writer Rob (Classwar) Williams and artist Fabiano (MARVEL ZOMBIES VS. THE ARMY OF DARKNESS) Neves! Under two awesome covers -- one by the sensational Stephen Segovia and the other by Dynamite's newest artistic sensation (and the pupil of artist David Finch) Johnny D! -- Dynamite goes back to basics as it unveils the dystopian, deeply satirical, and all-out violent world of RoboCop.
This is ROBOCOP meets the conspiracy theory mystery of ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN, following on from Paul Verhoeven's original by mixing high action, extreme violence and satire. Plus: the return of ED-209!

Protester in Parliament Square.
The annual May Day (International Worker’s Day) march from Clerkenwell Green to Trafalgar Square took place.
Also organised (by the organisers of the April Fool’s Day G20 demonstrations last year) were four carnival parades headed by the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. With the general election on May 6th, each of the parades ‘dragged’ an effigy of a political leader to Parliament Square to be symbolically ‘executed’. Gordon Brown (Labour Party), David Cameron (Conservative Party) and Nick Clegg (Liberal Democrat Party) were ‘dragged’ from their respective party headquarters by the red, silver and green horses, while the black horse ‘dragging Nick Griffin (British National Party) joined the May Day March.
A party in Parliament Square took place with music, samba band and Maypole Dancing. Anarchists blocked the streets around Parliament Square. Unlike the G20 Protests last year, Policing was non confrontational and there was no violence.
Heavy rain brought an early end to the protest.
