The rising yearlings assigned to 7th Company completed the water obstacle course July 10 during Cadet Field Training for the Class of 2016.
The two obstacles on the water confidence course are the Balance Beam and the Slide for Life. After a 75-foot tower climb, the cadet will hang onto a zip line for the 15-second Slide for Life moving approximately 35 mph before letting go and gliding feet first into the pond. The Balance Beam requires cadets to walk across the I-beam in 60 seconds while placing their full weight on three steps before continuing to the other end. Then, the cadet will use their hands and feet to inch across a cableāabout 30 feetābefore asking permission to make the 25-foot drop into the water. U.S. Army photo by Mike Strasser/USMA PAO

Today was a 2 photo day.
Tonight we had a party to celebrate Meredith's high school graduation. It was a wonderful success.
After everyone had left Alison wanted to make sure to get a photo with Meredith. :-)
