Matthew Rega went to Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., for his undergrad years, where he played football. While working toward a master’s in public health at Dartmouth, Rega was a member of the National Public Health Week Council and was able to complete an internship with the ALIVE HIV study in Baltimore. After graduation, Rega will be working as a research assistant at Weill Cornell Hospital in New York City and plans to apply to medical school.
Favorite place on campus: The basketball courts at Alumni Gym
“As a former college athlete, I think the basketball courts offered me my favorite competitive break from my studies, and helped solidify my friendships with those in my program.”
