The front part of the building was designed by Sidney R. J. Smith with a classical portico and dome behind. Construction, undertaken by Higgs and Hill, commenced in 1893. The gallery opened on 21 July 1897 as the National Gallery of British Art, but became commonly known as the Tate Gallery, after its founder Sir Henry Tate.

I took Joel to the Waterfield Reliquary on the grounds of the Tennessee State Capitol Bldg. The Capitol Bldg. was renovated in the late 1960's and its columns were decayed, weathered and damaged so they were replaced. Sections and pieces of the original columns were taken to various localities in Tennessee but several of them stayed on the Capitol grounds and forms the Reliquary. The Reliquary presents some really unique photo opportunities. This photograph shows Joel amidst the "ruins."

Admiralty Arch is a large office building in London which incorporates an archway providing road and pedestrian access between The Mall, which extends to the southwest, and Trafalgar Square to the northeast.

The building was commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of his mother Queen Victoria, although he did not live to see its completion. A Latin inscription along the top reads:

: ANNO : DECIMO : EDWARDI : SEPTIMI : REGIS :

: VICTORIÆ : REGINÆ : CIVES : GRATISSIMI : MDCCCCX :

(In the tenth year of King Edward VII, to Queen Victoria, from most grateful citizens, 1910)
