Pair up with someone you are comfortable touching and being close. One of you are going to be the drawer (active), and the other will be a pencil (passive). The brush person will be moving only as the drawer moves them in certain ways, like a puppet. Keeping in mind the previous in-class exercises (drawing with eyes and fingers only), your are going to draw with your partner's finger (and body in general) and their eyes. Imagine your partner is a giant brush. Their finger is the pencil tip. You are controlling it for the partner to see certain things in certain way. Use their whole body. Move them around. Always treat your pencil gently.
Each students will take turn in being drawer and pencil.
The next exercise is same as the prior one, except both of you will be drawer and pencil. You will resist and guide each other's movement. Imagine you are dancing with this person.
