The Speicherstadt (Storage City) in Hamburg is a listed complex of warehouses in the port district of the Hanseatic city since 1991.
Since 2015, it has also been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The first section of the complex was completed 1888 and the Area of the Speicherstadt is about 26 hectares.

Pike's Peak, Colorado Springs, CO.
I was out of town for a few days and when I returned home I found that Pike's Peak had been blanketed by some fairly heavy snowfall. I've often seen a light dusting of snow up on the peak in summertime but this may be the heaviest early season snow that I've observed. The flowers are still blooming and summer is far from over, but as I love the snow, I'm hoping this is a sign that winter will earn its name this year ...

This was taken on the second day of my NY trip. A visitor would normally expect to see lush green in Central Park, but given the time of the year it was snow white! I was thinking for a shot, and that's when the silhouette of this tree caught my attention. A morbid title, but that's kind of how it looked! This photograph is inspired by Her Days from Aftab

Revisión y reedición de unas de mis antiguas imágenes capturadas desde el Empire State Building. Este es el más emblemático rascacielos neoyorquino con sus más de cuatrocientos metros de altura, todo un icono sobre la isla de Manhattan - New York.
Esta captura está hecha desde la planta 102 situada a 351 metros de altura. En la imagen se ve el rio Hudson justo antes de su desembocadura y tras el las ciudades de Jersey City y Hoboken, pertenecientes al estado de New Jersey, detrás de ellas el sol antes del ocaso.

Colorado Springs, CO - Pike's Peak doesn't look this way yet as temperatures in the area have not yet let go of summer. But our much cooler nighttime lows have me "waiting for snow" ...
