Seen on route trials in Nottingham is this Citaro from Evobus. Its not expected to be used in service.

Ex Go-Ahead London General Mercedes-Benz Citaro G sits resplendent in the sun at the Detling Showground for the 2022 South East Bus Festival.
The vehicle BX02YYZ started life as MAL15 on the Red Arrow routes in Central London, before moving to Go South Coast as 2901 for use on Bournemouth University work. The bus has now been preserved for 6 years and, until around a month ago, continued to wear the Bournemouth Uni livery. This was its first event back in red and grey, and was included as part of the Diamond Jubilee parade celebrating 70 years' progress in bus manufacturing.
One of the 12 ex Bus Vannin Citaros acquired by Cardiff Bus, freshly painted in new colours, waiting for route branded vinyls to be applied. Fleet numbers will be 141-152.
The same accident scene viewed from further back reveals the remains of the bus shelter (now removed) and the police vehicle. Luckily, whilst the bus was pulling in to stop, no passengers were waiting to board.
Two alighting passengers were treated for bruises and the driver is said to be in shock.
The bus will remain at the scene until accident investigators have completed their work.
The rather appropriate blind was presumably set after the accident...
Just before Citaro's became the Monday-Friday norm on the 114's and with one of my favourite flora in view too, the lovely short flowering Cherry Blossom.

Bizkaibus (operated by Ezkerraldea-Meatzaldea Bus S.A., a joint venture of Transportes Colectivos S.A. -ALSA group- and Transitia): the articulated bus number 7819 (Mercedes Benz O530G Citaro C2) leaves the old Termibus bus station in Bilbao, carrying out a service on the suburban line 2318 to the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.

Here was Go North West Mercedes Benz Citaro 6207 NK08 CHN was seen pictured pulling over at Lever Street in Manchester loading and dropping off the passengers whiles working on route 41 to Middleton. This was new to Go North East as 5305 in May 2008. 9/07/21

First Wyvern's LK08 FNL (64042) is seen having just turned onto Langdale Drive, from Windermere Drive, Blackpole, with a 35 towards Worcester Crowngate Bus Station. The 35 operates up to every 10 minutes between Worcester Crowngate Bus Station (for the Crowngate Shopping Centre) and Blackpole. LK08FNL was new in March 2008 to First Beeline Buses Ltd. (First Berkshire & Thames Valley), for use on the Slough-Heathrow 7 Series. I think it looks quite smart in the First Midland Red West Nimrod livery. Don't worry, the driver was only adjusting the sun visor because he turned onto a road against the sun. 64042 is a Mercedes-Benz O530 Citaro.

Whilst all the interest was focusing on the new electric Mercedes and ADLs for Harrogate. Transdev had also placed orders for new electric eCiaros for Keighley and new Hybrid Citaros for Flyer.
Airport services to Leeds Bradford can be traced back to West Yorkshire Road car days, for the NBC, with Plaxton bodied Leyland Leopards providing the service. As the years moved by AztecBird, First Leeds, Harrogate & District, Dales and District, Centrebus and Flying Tiger gave the Airport services a try using a modern low floor vehicles.
It was all change following the Covid-19 pandemic, as Arriva withdrew from the 737, 757 and 747 Airport routes. CT Plus filled in on the 757 until the Summer of 2020, when flyer arrived. Using the newest Optare Versa saloons, a new bold livery with branding and new numbers A1-A3, the new routes took-off so to speak.
In early July 2025, 1504 was first out of the box, following final inspection and branding. By July 4th numbers 1504, 1506 and 1511 were being used for the day. here 1506 is seen passing Yeadon Cemetery, near to were avid plane enthusiasts can watch departures and arrivals.
KNQ 479 a Zenon Buses Mercedes Benz O530 Citaro photographed in Larnaca Central Bus Station on June 5th 2018 was on hire from Nicosia Buses at the time. Capacity of this vehicle is recorded as 35 seated and 70 standing. Note the advertising livery for Shark energy drink.
