We're a bit late to the party with our offering for International Women's Day but given that we're male then it's probably just par for the course. We did start it on International Women's Day so that's in our favour at least. Here we have a proud, empowered and intelligent young lady and that look in her eye tells you that you'd best believe it. We pilfered the International Women's Day circle logo for the background and got a little nod to our adopted home of Brixton in there just for good measure. And there you have it. Long live the matriarchy.

Before the 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, MLB threw a Pre-Game reception for VIPs with food, pomegrantinis and a show by Jordin Sparks in the Phoenix Convention Center across the street from Chase Field. These Native Americans entertained with singing, dancing, a drum circle and costumes. I think someone said this is the Blue Thunder drum circle.

I whipped up this frame out of axles, angle connectors, and Bohrok liftarms. It does its job nicely. Numerologically, it brings in the energy of the number 5, which is another favourite of mine.

I didn't take many photos of 71000 but I did take some of the very busy diesel services that passed through while waiting.
Here EWS Class 66 diesel 66232 slowly draws into the station from the north with a Lefarge/Redland cement train.
Lefarge took over my old company Blue Circle Cement although I had long gone by that time. The yellow tanks with the blue circle logo on were a feature of the railways from the 1960s.

In 1910 a draughtsman named Romano Cattaneo was given the job of coming up with a badge for a new Milan-based company, ALFA. The story goes that as he was waiting for a tram at the Piazza Castello terminus in Milan, he gained inspiration from the great Visconti family's red cross and biscione (child-devouring serpent) coat of arms emblazoned over the great door of Castello Sforzesco.
With the help of Giuseppe Merosi, a designer, his sketches incorporated both the City of Milan's emblem and that of the Visconti family in a circular motif, bordered by a dark blue metallic ring containing the inscription "ALFA - ROMEO" and "MILANO" separated by two Savoy dynasty knots.
After the victory of the P2 in the inaugural Automobile World Championship in 1925, Alfa added a laurel wreath around the logo.
The name "Milano", the hyphen and the Savoy knots were eliminated when Alfa Romeo opened the factory at Pomigliano d'Arco, Naples in early 1970s.

My Logo started with a tetrahedron in 2013. evolved into a merkaba in 2015.
In Egyptian, Mer means a Counter Rotating Field of Light.
Ka means Spirit.
Ba means Body.
it all happenened natuarally in the flow of creation.
Before Math as we know it is Sacred Geometry, which encapsulates life itself.
I was attracted to electronic toys as a child.
I disassembled them to understand them, and put them back together.
Math was the only class besides sports in which I had fun and where everything felt natural.
I made my own electric circuits during the weekend in Junior High.
I started writing code to create shapes at 12 years old.
It’s something that came naturally.
I was a science major in high school without trying to be one.
I’m don’t consider myself a mathmatician but someone with a love for the art.
Sacred Geometry makes Mathematical relationships visual and intuitively natural to understand.
The 2 triangular shapes are tetrahedrons.
When together in opposite directions, create what is called a ‘Merkaba’ or ‘Star Tetrahedron’.
The Merkaba is the basis of all biological lifeforms all across the Universe.
Enlightement is realising the interconnectivity of all that is.
It is when both sides of the brain work together as one.
I use Sacred Geometry because it represents the interconnectivity of the Universe.
We are all connected to one another, to the plants, animals, insects, the wind, water, fire, earth.
Everything in reality, that exists, manifested through the Sacred Geometry proportions.
Every single thing in creation.
Music, emotions, feelings, energy, plants, our bodies, everything is created out a unique sign
wave signatures, that when becoming physical comes out of a sacred geometry pattern.
It represents the physical life emerging out of the spiritual realm.
Crop circles which seem to be created by aliens, are pure sacred geometry.
They seem to communicate something specific based on mathematical relationships.
The Circles showing the mathematical relationships of the merkaba of my logo, represent the Seed of Life.
The Seed of Life is the center of the Flower of Life.
The Flower of Life represents all of life in the Universe.
I view the Merkabah as masculine energy due to its straight lines, and the Seed of Life represents
the feminine energy due to its circular form.
It holds the laws and proportions of everything in existence.
By Superimposing the Male Energy and the Female Energy together, we get the connection of the two.
We all have both energies within us.
When a man and a woman are in love, it creates the most powerful energy within the body.
Sacred Geometry shapes in architecture, sculptures and art have been all over the world for centuries.
The pyramids all over the world from Egypt to Central and South America are examples of this.

Here I am (romleys) standing out front of the Safeway store located at 860 North Delaware St. in San Mateo,CA. This is the most intact Safeway SuperS Drug Store (combo) site in my opinion. The SuperS became a PaynSave than a Bills Drug Store. Today the SuperS is now occupied by a Longs Drugs all the while the Safeway has remained open! Unfortunately all great things come to an end since both the Safeway and Longs Drug Store will undergo major renovations during the Summer of 2008:(
This is also one of the few Safeway stores with the CircleS symbol out front.
Oakland (Redwood Rd.), San Francisco (Mission St.), and San Jose (Stevens Creek) are the only stores (coming to mind) that retain this beautiful Safeway CircleS logo!
I've been working on some graphic design work recently for my day job and thought I'd share. I work for a commerical developer and we're putting together an advertisement mailer for several of the tenants in one of our shopping centers in South Austin. Two of them already had their graphic work done, and two of them did not. There will be 4 tenants split onto one side and the opposite side will contain location information about the center, etc.
All this tenant had to start with was a love for Alice in Wonderland and the circle logo of the rabbit drinking coffee. I had been brainstorming for a while trying to figure out a way to give it the Alice in Wonderland feel without infringing on any copyrights. I pulled a few colors from the Tim Burton version of the movie and added a whimsical font selection. I'm pretty happy with how it came out and I think it fits them pretty well.
