Cincinnati's Riverfront Stadium (aka Cinergy Field 1996-2002) began construction in 1968 and was completed in 1970. The stadium was home to the Cincinnati Reds National League baseball team and the Cincinnati Bengals National Football League team. The circular, "cookie-cutter" design of the facility is almost identical to stadiums in Atlanta, San Diego, Philadelphia, Washington DC, St, Louis, New York, and Pittsburgh; all built in roughly the same time-period. The facility was ceremoniously imploded on December 29th, 2002.
Unfortunately, the city's decision-makers (and numb-skull voters) chose to replace hulking eyesore with two, brand-new, single-use riverfront stadiums; costing taxpayers nearly a billion dollars (not-including financing or the lost economic and social value of the centrally-located, waterfront real-estate.
The property located between the two corporate vanity palaces is planned to become a mixed-used "neighborhood" known as "The Banks." Thanks to stimulus funding; the first of several proposed phases of the Banks project, finally broke ground in late 2009...
...after a decade of false-starts.
The professional Cincinnati Red Stockings played their first game May 4, 1869, with a 45-9 win over the Great Westerns of Cincinnati. The team won 57 games and lost zero, counting only matches with Association clubs. They played over 70 games counting outside teams. Its commercial tour of continental scope, visiting both Boston and San Francisco, was unprecedented and may be essentially unrepeated. The first season ended November 6 at home with the Cincinnatis beating the Mutuals of New York 17-8. -- Wikipedia

Despite having a nice shiny new ballpark, the Cincinnati Reds seemed to have lackluster attendance. Half an hour before game time, a solitary fan looks out over the park.

Opening Night 2016 at a rainy, windy and cold Great American Ballpark.Scott Schebler delivered a walk-off double with the bases loaded to give the Reds a 3-2 victory over the Phillies and the first two games of the season-opening series. Reds pitcher Brandon Finnegan also had a strong night with two earned runs on three hits. Finnegan walked one and tied a career-high with nine strikeouts.

I know that this is in Section 110 (Lower Level); If I had to guess, I'd say that these seats are in rows N through Q.

The youngest player in MLB history and longtime Cincinnati Reds radio announcer. Famous for his excited background cheering, talking to the ball (common ball, common ball get out of here!), getting a bit confused with right and left field, and of course his signature sign off: "This is the Old Left Hander Rounding Third and Heading for Home.... Goodnight Everybody."
If anybody has lived in Cincinnati for any amount of time then no doubt they know and love Joe. No one ever has had a bad word to say about the man. Today the world of Baseball and the city of Cincinnati has lost a legend.
Almeida - Cinn. - Nat.. T207 Brown backgrounds 1912 [reverse]
Senor Rafael Almeida is one of the first two Cubans to operate in the big leagues. Almeida is considered the strongest hitter ever developed in Cuba. Almeida is of Portuguese descent and first came to this country as a member of the New Britain team of the Connecticut League. He was sold to Cincinnati and played there in 1911. His failure to report promptly in 1912 brought about his release to Birmingham but he will return to Cincinnati as he is playing a fine thrid base and hitting the ball hard in the Southern League. In 1911 Almeida batted .313 and fielded .890 for Cincinnati.
