The country BANGLASDESH is a land of fertility for Agriculture, while Livestock’s are the main driving force for the rural life, Education had been the prime concerned for people of these days . Bangladesh has the glory to Inaugurate ICC World cup Cricket in 2011 at Mirpur stadium,

Bangladesh, a land of cultural festivals, always celebrates each and every colorful distinctiveness of the nature. Each of the seasons has its own way of representing the nature here in Bangladesh. The spring (Bashanta) is celebrated in colorful programs all over the country. One such festival is the Kite Flying festival, which is a common phenomenon all over the world, celebrated in different names. Kite flying festival in Asia has the oldest history which gathers people from different religions and classes to celebrate nature’s liveliness after the harshness of winter. In spring, the sky remains clear and also the gentle bridge helps to fly the kite quite nicely than any other time of the year.
Kite flying, an oldest traditional festivities dating back to Mughal Era, gathers a huge crowd at different places of the country. The most colorful and enthusiastic festival is held at Old Dhaka. People of Shakharipatti, Tatibazar, Lokkhibazar of the city celebrates the day with lots of courage and enthusiasm. Thousands of kites cover the sky of the city with colorful drapes. People of the mentioned places prepare delicious foods to entertain the guests. People of all ages go to the roof of their residential place to fly kites starting from the midday. Thousands of people including young ladies can be seen on the roofs depicting a fine composition of the festival. Some people also arrange musical system on the roof, which plays popular tracks loudly giving the festival a rhythmic backbone.
Most attractive part of the festival takes place when the sun set begins. Some people put characin into their mouth and blows fire with that liquid. Though the task is quite dangerous, it brings an illuminating effect all around the place.
The kite flying festival is usually held from January to February. It really welcomes the spring in a vivacious way.

b>PREFACE
"SHADHINOTA is My Cause for the 40th Celebration of BANGLADESH Independence. The land, the mighty rivers and the natural beauty makes Bangladesh a land of unparalleled splendor and magnificence. Bangladesh was liberated after a prolonged war of Independence the declaration of which was given on 26th MARCH 1971. One of the worst genocides Genocide in history took place at the behest of an autocratic regime in the name of Political stability spearheaded by the then Pakistan President Yah ya Khan. After 9 months of Liberation water and the sacrifice of 3 million lives Victory came. In addition to the loss of lives countless others were rendered homeless, the infrastructure including roads and bridges and factories lay in ruins. The people of Bangladesh have shown time and again how resilient they are. After each and every disaster, natural or man-made the people have again stood up and started all over again from scratch.
My Effort here is to pay tribute to the valiant sons of the soil and the ‘die hard’ attitude of a people who can still smile in the face of adversity however great it may be. I plan to make a collage of images that represent the lives of the people of Bangladesh. I encourage you to upload a photo each day till I have a total of 40 images for the Cause SHADHINOTA in the group Frame BANGLADESH"

International Mother's Language Day Celebration at BANGLADESH
Description :
International Mother Language Day has been being observed since 2000[4] to promote peace and multilingualism. The date corresponds to the day in 1952 when students from the University of Dhaka, Jagannath University and Dhaka Medical College, demonstrating for the recognition of Bengali as one of the two national languages of East Pakistan, were shot dead by police near the Dhaka High Court in the capital of present-day Bangladesh.
"Mother language" is the calque of a term used in several Romance languages: lengua materna (Spanish), lingua madre (Italian) and langue maternelle (French). A more literal English translation would be "mother tongue", although "native language" is the most comprehensible term in English. In linguistics, "mother language" refers to an ancestral (or proto-language) of a language family

International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in November 1999 (30C/62). On 16 May 2009 the United Nations General Assembly, in its resolution A/RES/61/266, called on its member states "to promote the preservation and protection of all languages used by people of the world".[5] In the resolution, the General Assembly proclaimed 2008 as the International Year of Languages to promote unity in diversity and international understanding through multilingualism and multiculturalism. The resolution was suggested by Rafiqul Islam,a Bengali living in Vancouver, Canada. He wrote a letter to Mr. Kofi Anan on 9 January 1998 asking him to take a step for saving all the languages of the world from the possibility of extinction and to declare an International Mother Language Day.
Rafiq proposed the date as 21 February on the pretext of 1952 killing in Dhaka on the occasion of Language Movement.

Alistair Brownlee: Olympic champion claims easy London win

Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee claimed his second win of the World Triathlon Series with a devastating performance in London.
The Briton, 27, did not enjoy the best transition between the 750m swim and 20km bike, but caught up before blowing away the field on the 5km run.
Brownlee finished in 50 minutes and 39 seconds, 12 seconds ahead of Spain's Fernando Alarza.
His brother Jonny was down the field after suffering bike problems.
In the women's event, 2014 world champion Gwen Jorgensen led a USA 1-2-3 in the second of the day's sprint races - half the distance of a standard triathlon series event.
The 29-year-old crossed the line in 55.45, 20 seconds ahead of Katie Zaferes, who outsprinted Sarah True over the final 200m. It was Jorgensen's 10th successive win in races she has competed in.
Northern Ireland's Aileen Reid took fourth spot, ahead of fellow Briton Vicky Holland, who won in Cape Town last month.
Reid, who competed at London 2012, told BBC Sport: "It was half the distance but twice as hard.
"I had a great run. I didn't think I would run that fast. I want to be in the top 10 in the world."

In 1993, it brought the prestigious photojournalism exhibition World Press Photo to Bangladesh for the first time. Utilising Drik’s goodwill and its non partisanship towards political parties, it invited the deputy heads of the warring major political parties Dr. Badruddoza Chowdhury of the BNP (later president of Bangladesh) and Mr. Abdus Samad Azad of the Awami League (later, foreign minister), to jointly open the exhibition. A gesture the parties have never repeated.
