Made some Vegan Oatmeal Cookies. Delicious and no guilt, Try one! Coaches Oats, dried cherries, and chocolate chips.
According to "My Panier" this white film does not mean the chocolate is moldy or has gone bad. It’s actually just a scientific process called “chocolate bloom”. There are two types of this bloom: sugar bloom and fat bloom.
Sugar bloom happens when moisture comes in contact with the chocolate - it dissolves the sugar crystals on the chocolate’s surface, leaving a white, powdery look.
Fat bloom occurs due to improper storing conditions, dramatic changes in temperature, or a poor tempering process. This bloom will give the chocolate a powdery, white-gray appearance and leave the bar soft in texture. Bottom line...DO NOT THROW OUT!
Close up of a little bowl filled with chocolate chips. I sprinkle them over ice cream usually.
The section of the bowl you see here is about 2" each way.
The Looking Close on Friday theme is candy. Wasn’t sure I could find the colorful jelly beans for a photo shoot, so the old standby chocolate chips will have to do.
Macro Mondays - Zigzag
I hope this is OK for zigzags ... tiz one of those mini muffins from Sainsbury's.
I should have done my pic on Sunday, as this morning I was up and out early, and had to do something for the challenge when I got home.

Josie is delighted by the little crocodile that crawled out of her egg! Josie loves crocodiles, she doesn't like teddy bears and men with beards, too hairy, she thinks.

Josie is verrukt van de kleine krokodil die uit haar ei kwam gekropen! Josie houdt van krokodillen, ze moet niets hebben van beren en mannen met baarden, te harig, vindt ze.
I've had several people ask me about this cup and saucer. (Demitasse) Steubenville Pottery was founded in Steubenville, Ohio in 1879. They closed down in 1959. Their major claim to fame was the American Modern line of dinnerware created by the well known industrial designer Russel Wright. I found this little cup and saucer at an antique shop and paid $4.00. Wish I could afford to buy more the colors are fabulous.
Thank you for visiting, commenting and for the Flickr friendships:)
Pot at end of rainbow with not gold but chocolate...my favorite!

On/Off - Thank you very much for your visit and comment! I really appreciate it!
Macro Mondays - "Chips"- Of course my first choice chip to shoot would have been my hubbie....his name is Chip! But I don't think I could have done a decent macro of him:)
But chocolate chips were my second favorite chips!
For Macro Monday - I think the first time I did the photo using white chocolate chips it was kind of boring and now it's a little more conceptual. I hope everyone has a great week. HMM!
The chocolate chips have the single misfit raisin outnumbered. Yes, one of these things is not like the other.
We are all too aware of the long and distinguished history of raisins being lightkeepers - it's their Raison d'être.
I could Chip in and help, but I will not - that's how the cookie crumbles.
Yes, that's me. I think I could eat an entire bag of these chips easily. I bake a lot and I wonder how many chips I have bought (or eaten) in my lifetime........
Made my famous pure almond Torte for the barbecue at my brother in laws house Yesterday,
Cake was iced with coffee infused fudge icing and topped with dark chocolate chips,
Photo taken on the dashboard of my car:-)
The golden chip sparkles in the afternoon sun amongst all those ordinary chocolate chips...which didn't last very long! For Macro Mondays "Chip(s)" theme. HMM!
This is a Gingerbread House by Jasmine Rodgers. I'll be going back home to spend some time with my mom Saturday morning in Rochester, NY. It will be really nice to have more time together!

I am not feeling very inspired. Truth be told, I have not been happy with a single picture I have posted this month. I wasn't going to post this picture, because I absolutely hated it but, my husband encouraged me to at least try. So, here it is. A Macro Monday attempt. I hope to get my mojo back soon. Feeling uninspired and not wanting to pick up my camera has been killer.
