Set Description: I'm on a parking deck kick lately. Before, during, and after running a few errands downtown, I took some snaps for my #ChicagoLandmarks project.

A nearly pristine blanket of snow covers the Great Lawn of the Pritzker Pavilion.
Set Description: On Tuesday, Chicago was treated to it's largest snowstorm since the Groundhog Day blizzard of 2011.
I bundled up and went out into the elements for a few hours at night to photograph the action on and around Michigan Avenue.
While the temperature was somewhat comfortable, the shooting conditions were brutal. Visibility was low and working the camera in torrential snow has it's challenges. Despite the difficulties I managed to get some cool shots.
Now that we got a snowstorm out of the way, bring on the spring thunderstorms!

Then we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo...
Set description: I had a blast showing Sean Parker
around Chicago as he ended a 2-week long raod trip up famed Route 66.
Sean was traveling the route with Joel Schat to document their travels via time-lapse. While Joel continued onto Indianapolis to shoot the Indy 500, Sean and I hit the streets, balconies, and roofs of Chicago to get as many time-lapsable scenes we could fit in during his brief visit.
Together, they are creating a documentary for Roadtrippers with some great film & time-lapse sequences detailing their stops along the way. To see more photos from their trip and get updates on the documentary’s progress go here >> #TravelRoute66

The base of Trump Tower.

I haven't had much time to go out and shoot for fun lately, but I had my camera on me between two meetings this afternoon. It was a mostly monochromatic walk.

This weekend was open house in Chicago hosted by the Chicago Architectural Foundation, given residents a chance to tour some of the more historic architectural sites in the city. As you can see by the pictures, I had a lot of fun.
This is a 2-frame vertical panoramic stitch featuring Trump Tower enveloped in a cloud of snow.
