I may or may not have enticed this little feathery thing with a hot chip to get close to the camera.
I've been feeding the squirrels in the front yard since last spring. This is Chip, and he loves his peanuts :-)
Just spent the evening eating fish and chips watching the sunset on West Kirby beach. A beautiful evening.
Hi my friends! I'm stopping by while I have a short break. I miss you all so very much!

Macro Mondays theme "Styling food on a fork" and I decided to make myself and my son a lunch of Chips, Sausage and Peas.
A few photos later and it all soon disappeared.

Macro-Mondays-Wood
Every couple of years we get wood chips delivered from Limb Walker, a local landscape company. We use the chips to cover and mulch the garden and plants. There are many thousands of them. Today I went on a quest to find the one that I thought would represent "wood" for today's challenge. I found many but I liked the shape and texture of this one.

Macro Mondays theme today was Chip(s). A deconstructed Betamax video recorder and this is one of the tiny chips on the mainboard.
A YN560IV fired directly behind the board. Bare, 1/128 and 24mm.
A square crop in LR and jobs a good'un.

This is Chip, from Beauty and the Beast. He is Mrs. Potts son! Cogsworth is the clock in the back! I just caught the monorail coming in the background, too!
Always a treat to see and spend some time watching the antics of chipmunks. I believe this is a "least chipmunk" which is the most common type in north america.
I didn't know there were 25 classified chipmunks worldwide.
"Least chipmunks do not hibernate, or put on excess fat in the fall. Instead, they survive the winter by entering torpor for long stretches of time, waking to eat food cached in the burrow. Chipmunks typically live about three years." wiki
Hope your weekend is off to a good start.

All gettin' ready for an inland Maine winter.

Though, with him being from Scotland, I'm sure
fighting King George was the natural thing to do!
² Actually a Black Oak leaf prior to a flip and paste.
I hear they also have Black Oak in Arkansas.
The 5/22/17 theme for Macro Mondays is Chip, and even though I know there are a gazillion different kinds of chips I could play around with, all I could think of was , yeah! At last I have an excuse to buy a bag of potato chips!... Due to my expanding girth, we try to avoid buying such things, but for Macro Mondays, I'll make any sacrifice to get the picture....
