Chili is a very curious and hyper bird.

She always want to know everything that's happening in the house..and everytime shes outside she wants to play with everything and never one moment being still. But we love her how she is! ;-))

Found these Chili formed apples and pears in New Mexico this summer. Just had to bring home a trio of them to use. Decided to try a still life this evening with them and then use some apps for a muted effect. I'm not sure I'm thoroughly happy with this but I spent more time on it than I planned. So...back to your streams now!! Thank you for your visits!!

Fooling around with stuff frozen into ice. Prompted by this theme in Macro Mondays.

Chili pepper flakes float, so I didn't manage to get these fully buried in the ice. I'd like to try again sometime with another round of freezing and a thin over-layer of ice. But for this time, I was eager to get on the photography. This result would not qualify for the MM theme, but I still like the photo.

El río Chili de la ciudad de Arequipa, Perú.

It's my first time to visit Sta. Fe, New Mexico. While I was wandering around the city, I've noticed a lot of chili's hanged in front of some business establishment and residents as part of their ornaments.

White chili

It was a risk to enter a white chili in a chili cookoff. And although I think it is far superior to any tomato-based chili, it didn’t win.

For our chili cookoff, I made a white chicken chili. It’s my favorite chili (as I detest cooked tomatoes), but too non-traditional to earn a win. Ah, well, I always enjoy challenging convention!
