Codpa est un village situé à 114 kilomètres au sud d' Arica , dans la commune chilienne de Camarones dans la région d' Arica et de Parinacota . Etabli à 1 852 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, dans une vallée du même nom, c'est un petit village d'origine hispanique, situé dans une chaîne de montagnes au climat tempéré et à l'eau pure réputée. Sa vallée étroite est extrêmement fertile, adaptée à la plupart des types d'arbres fruitiers, en particulier la goyave . Lieu célèbre pour son vin blanc moelleux "pintatani" (vin de messe) . L' église de San Martín de Tours était un centre missionnaire important dans la colonisation espagnole des Amériques . A quelques kilomètres de Codpa se trouvent les pétroglyphes d'Ofragia. Codpa est un mot aymara signifiant "piédestal".

This is my meal for tonight. And tomorrow night. And the next night. And...........

Every now and then I go a bit nuts with my Dutch oven and dump all sorts of stuff into it to see what I come up with, and I generally don't stop dumping until the pot is full. So, for those of you who are true chili aficionados, you would likely want to crucify me for calling this chili; but basically that's what it is. It needs work, mainly more hot stuff. OK, medium hot stuff, which I'm sure would turn you aficionados off even more, but hopefully, by the time I get to my last bite, I'll have it just right.
