The lead unit, 1943, has since left the FGLK mainline for captive switches duties in Fulton, NY.

Due to the COVID virus, the Mount Morris salt mine is closed, thus making the run to Silver Springs daylight again. The train is seen here making its way through the swamp as it approachs Brook Road.
A trio of six axle EMD locomotives leads a 47 car Rochester & Southern GW-1 over the concrete bridge that spans the Black Creek in Chili, NY. Tree clearing in the fall due to power line installation has greatly opened up this area.

Rochester and Southern train BL-1 has BPRR 2030 leading as it works its way southbound out of Brooks Ave yard, passing Genesee Junction. Waiting for BL-1 to pass in Genesee Junction is the Liviona, Avon & Lakeville, with ALCo C425 number 428 leading. After BL-1 clears, the LAL will enter the RS line and then shove back into Brooks Ave yard where they will interchange cars.

While waiting for K-042 with the NKP 8100 I thought I'd goof around with some of the Westbounds that came thru. Q-627 is coming off the West Shore bypass while Q-167 holds on track 2 of the main at CP382.

Running through a blanket of snow, Amtrak train 48 passes under the route 259 overpass in Chili, NY. The excavator and tractor trailer are on site to work on a massive 900,000 square ft warehouse facility just to the left of the frame. When finished, the facility will have rail service from the CSX West Shore Sub.
