Every child deserve a proper childhood so do they. In fact they do have a proper childhood. They possess the same cheeky smile and playfulness as any other kids but the difference is the environment they are in. Kids in developed countries play with Barbie dolls, Hot wheels or transformer, these kids in Tondo play with mud, sticks, luggage wheels, Marbles etc.
These kids are unbelievable curious, i remember one kid actually look into the barrel of my lens thinking he might see something and some might even lick your lens like a lollipop. These are some hilarious moments i could share with you guys about the kids there.

My house burned down when I was 17, so there aren't any pics of me young. But this one was returned by a friend. I was about 14 or 15. It's the only old picture I have in digital form.

My mind was concept-less. I couldn't find anything to photograph. Suddenly I noticed there was fog on the glass of balcony's window. So, I started riding on the roller-coaster of memories and went back to childhood when I used to write my name with my finger on the glasses covered with fog.

This was Adam's childhood dresser, complete with crazy vintage stickers all over. After much debate we decided that we wanted to use it for our baby and we decided to update it completely. I took these pictures for nostalgia purposes. :)

I was at my parents' house on january the 1st. I was browsing my childhood LEGO and shoot some photos.
Here are some pictures from the catalogs and instruction booklets I found.
Also I have the booklet of the Castle (375) but can not find the picture I did.
Series of selfies outside the place I called home for the first 21 years of my life.
This is where my parents brought me and my 2 brothers up. I have great memories of this place no matter what is said about the estate I enjoyed my childhood here. Its where I met a lot of good friends, a lot of bad ones too, have memories of playing football and games with the other kids on the estate too, it's where I learned from my mistakes, and sometimes where my parents had to tell me the mistakes I'd made :) It's where I had BBQ's with the family in the garden, and it's where I watched the nextdoor neighbours getting drunk and fighting with the police :)
So much went on outside of this house yet our family was as normal as they came. My parents provided us with a loving, safe and stable home which has definitely made me into the man I am today!

Here is some of my immediate family (yeah i have a big family) just missing a couple of siblings, with in laws and nieces and nephews included. This is what I think of when I think of a childhood memory, spending the ENTIRE day outside with your family riding bikes, etc. The best feeling in the world to me.
Also, I'd like to say happy Memorial Day!!! For those who lost their lives fighting for the people they love, I honor and respect all of those who have passed and who are continuing to fight this long fight.

Childhood: putting aside all the feedings, diapers, playtimes and the not enough sleeps what childhood resembles is purity. Purity of mind, heart and soul, which as we grow we lose big part of it because of the different experiences we encounter and how they affect us. If only we would take our childhood innocence with us into adulthood and look at our relationships, friendships and the way we treat each other as children do the world would been in a much better place.
