There were Tomy Pocket Games! I found these at my parents' house and it was like a little time machine back to my childhood. Some of these were Liam's, some were mine (I don't remember which anymore). The cool thing is that after 30 years, they all still work because they are mechanical and don't use batteries. Now Arlo is a second-generation Pocket Game player.

Childhood means simplicity. Look at the world with the child's eye - it is very beautiful.

This is my childhood home I grew up in in Tokyo, and I decided to recreate it since it was demolished.

I plated a picture I took in the park as a background (I'm not good at editing photos). The house next door is only partially done, with only the areas you can see from this angle actually built.

1st floor:

We lived on the first floor so it has a full interior. I tried to make everything as realistic as possible. Most of the interior is recent stuff but I made some stuff the older version if I have more memories about it.

2nd floor:

Our neighbor lived on the second floor so I will use the space for the structure of the first floor ceiling and I am planning to store the equipment for lighting when I get to actually build it.

Roof:

The roof uses so many small pieces but I wanted to get the texture right. It is supported by a technic structure on the inside.

Side yard:

We had a small yard on the side and my father made a deck when I was young. It is not big enough to play but we hanged out with the cats and did BBQ and a lot of good memories.

Car:

We had this red Estima for most of my childhood, and I hated it cuz it smelled so bad but still a lot of memories.

My childhood means a miilion of horses. I've been drawing them all days long. And dremt of a personal one of course.

Childhood is that wonderful time of life when all you need to do to lose weight is take a bath.”

Childhood is the ultimate goal of Memories.

No matter how much we grow up or how much we change ourselves as a human being, these memories won't ever leave our mind and will be our only strong Source of Joy and Happiness at Old Ages..

Brahmanbaria,Bangladesh..

Concept: As infantile beings uncommon is to not have redundant fear barriers. Classic psychoanalysis would define them as life-changing (id supremacy - fixed), we classify them identically: however them might seem devolutonary, they are not (peace and health aside, of course, right?).

Conceptually it's an analysis of recurring nightmares (and daylight cyclic fears) that infest our childhood. Bless those that managed not to carry them through their puberty into adulthood. Freud, SOS.

Sometimes you have to get in touch with your inner child. Evidently, mine is a four year-old girl. Actually, it was an Idea that started when I saw a photogenic cupcake in the grocery store but didn't want to simply take a picture of a cupcake. I purchased the apple juice and looked around my bedroom for props that would compliment the cupcake. Of course, the fact that I own the pony and D.W. book most likely brings us full circle to the first two sentences.

"There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again.” ~ Elizabeth Lawrence

The first hot day of summer brings with it a scent you never forget – pine soap, sunshine, and a trace of childhood. Wet rugs hang to dry in the evening light, just like they always did.

This elevator was the first abandoned building that I ever dared to enter. This is the ground floor and it used to scare the crap out of me when I was 11 years old.

Sapa, Vietnam 越南 -- these kids are super cute. I played with them for about 45 mins. When i said goodbye to them, they pretended that they wanna cry, sooo sweet!!!! ^_^

Childhood is the best time in a whole life. You are young and happy. You can paint your face and dress up to act adults. Then You look so funny and every photographer likes it.

“Grown up, and that is a terribly hard thing to do. It is much easier to skip it and go from one childhood to another.”

― F. Scott Fitzgerald

childhood memory such a happy memory that will never be forget.

When I was a small child, in the early 1960s, we lived near the Wigwam Motel #7 in Rialto, California. I always wanted to spend the night in a wigwam, but never got to do so.

On this trip, my childhood dream finally came true. We stayed at the Wigwam Motel #6 in Holbrook, Arizona. That's our teepee, Unit 12, there with the open door.

The turquoise Ford Ranch Wagon and the green-blue Volkswagen Beetle are "decoration" cars. The decoration cars are parked in front of the teepees all around the motel's lot.

This motel is very authentic. The teepees have electricity, but the outlets only fit plugs that have two prongs, i.e.,not three-prong grounded plugs. There is no wi-fi available. The rooms still have the original hickory stick furniture. They have had non-authentic TVs and window-type air conditioners added.

These are some of my favorite dolls from childhood. :)

My childhood was the time when i was innocent…

when the world seemed to be fair….

when my universe was around my toys.

My childhood was the time when i lived in dreams…

when everyone was selfless …

when everyone appeared to be a friend.

This doll was my biggest childhood dream!! I wanted her sooooo bad, but I never got her. Now years later, I finally own her, I'm so happy!!!

Isn't she just cute? ;-)
