While au pairing my niece I've learned that swings are vital to a child's development. No idea in which way, but I'm using "lifelong learning" as an excuse for always-just-one-more-round before the little one makes me leave the playground.

This was in a box of similar cards which were to teach teachers methods to evaluate different areas of a child's development (that's horribly awkward but the best I can do). So they were being tossed out and I of course said "wait, I want to look through them". Example one above.
The toys are one of the most attractive things for children. So, it is very easy to improve their learning habits by providing them with the right toys. The toys can play the role of silent tutor in the life of children. They improve their coordination, cognition, recognition, creativity, imagination and fine motor skills. So, never avoid providing toys to your kids.
