The light fades on another day at Chew Valley Lake.

During a walk on Alney Island in Gloucester we came upon a small heard of cows lying down and enjoying the sun and chewing the cud!

My entry for "reflections" competition with Dad.....not much in the way of reflections, other than the sky, but I liked the picture!

Isabela chews on the isabela-rubber-protector on the corner of the coffee table.

I thought this chewed up flower was interesting. It might have been partially eaten by insects but it keeps blooming, kind of inspirational in a way. I made the background black and white to increase the contrast.

She loves to play by chewing on my sleeves!

At the edge of the marsh at Haddam Meadows. I've seen Muskrats in the marsh, but Wikipedia tells me Muskrats feed on "cattails and other aquatic vegetation." I wonder if a Beaver was nibbling here - ?

The breed is exceptionally hardy with a natural and unique ability to convert poor grazing efficiently. They are commonly used on the Somerset Levels keeping the growth down as they seem to be able to eat anything. This one was having a right good chew and I loved this expression.
