A couple of flavors of hi-chew that I found which I hadn't seen before, and were pretty good. One was "dragon fruit" flavored and the other was "blood orange" flavored.
Until now I'd not really looked closely at a cow when it is chewing the cud. It looks awkward. Look at the large image and you can see a dangling thread of cow saliva.
Turfcutters September note: OK, so its a commoner's beast and not really 'fauna' which I believe means wildlife, but I'm desperate - so here it is.
This says, God damn I've swallowed a lot of chewing gum today. This is a bad habit, I chew the gum and then it goes in the belly. I guess it spends all day in there.
My first time out with a new lens and I was on a date so they weren't great shots and were a real challenge to get anything good out, hence having to resort to a lo-fi look for some of them.

Green crested lizard (Bronchocela cristatella) - Malua Forest Reserve, Malaysia
I had been photographing this lizard for a while and as soon as I decided to move on and put my camera gear away, the lizard took a leap and caught a grasshopper. Of course I reached for my camera once again but by the time I got it out of my pack the lizard had already swallowed the grasshopper. I still took advantage of the opportunity to get a few shots of the lizard with its mouth open.
Testing out the new flash arrangement. No time for backgrounds tonight, its getting late.

The Hi-Chew flavor on the left is lemon cheesecake--a Hokkaido regional souvenir pack. Although I don't usually like cheesecake flavored candies (it's a better flavor for chocolates), this was quite good.

Pretty nice spring Sunday today so we took the boys for a long walk.
Chewing of different parts of the forest was today´s highlights.
