My sister and I spent all of Memorial Day afternoon driving around some local roads and taking photos. It was quality sister-sister time. =)
This photo was taken from inside a local covered bridge. The bridge was actually used in the movie Funny Farm (made in the late 80's or early 90's and starred Chevy Chase.... It was the bridge that the moving van tried to cross.) I took some clearer photos but I liked how abstract this was. So, I'm sharing it with y'all. =)
Oh! I know it isn't straight. =( I'm horrible at keeping things lined up. I try but then I forget or I push the button and I wiggle the camera or something. So, please disregard the fact that I can't take a level photo. =)

Yesterday we found a plethora of woodpeckers out and about in the park -- there were at least three Red-bellied Woodpeckers, four Downy Woodpeckers, and we are pretty sure we saw a Pileated Woodpecker in the far distance.
Unfortunately, they were all very stubborn and refused to come close enough for a good photo. :(
