I missed take pictures to Kitsune!! I had some problems trying to send her eyelids to custumize :( and for this reason I have her offside, but I get her out because I did not want to pass another spring without taking pictures, I have always thought that spring is her favorite season, that cherry/pink trees makes me think a lot in Japan ^///^

Another cherry blossom shot from my 2019 archives that was not published on Flickr (three more to go).
Even though I have been enjoying going through the images from our last trip, I have started to feel a bit "stir crazy" from too much time confined to the house. So went out exploring in the yard. The cherry tree gave me something to photograph. In the fifteen years I have had this tree I have only tasted about five cherries. The crows get them. Nice that crows don't like blossoms!
The cherry blossoms are not yet in full bloom, but they are getting close. Due to the ongoing Corona outbreak, there probably won't be large gatherings of people having a good time under those trees this year. Happy weekend, everyone and please stay safe.

I've forgotten whether this is Blackthorn or Cherry blossom, but my gut feeling says Blackthorn.
I need something bright and cheerful and a lot of sunshine and light, it been too dark and wet for the last few days.

An unusual variety of cherry blossom with a yellow-green color is called Gioiko. It is said to be named after the costumes worn by nobility during the Heian period (794-1185)
