Stopped in traffic in New Orleans during rush-hour. Why do I ALWAYS seem to be passing through NOLA at rush-hour?! Conspiracy. Anyhow. Here's probably the only pic of us together on our roadtrip from Tampa,FL to Lake Charles, LA to see his fam.

We match because we're dorks.

And frikken delicious, if I do say so myself! (and I just did)

Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

He's a big fan of Picasso, de Kooning, and Matisse.

The best part about this pic is the tall dude in the background. His face looks not unlike the Geico caveman after he sees the Geico ad on the moving walkway with Royksopp playing in the background. The reason is because this cheeseball guy (whose expression might be the second best thing about this picture) and Brad were getting all the attention from hot chick #2, who tall guy came with. Unfortunately, Brad could not hook up with her because he is currently engaged to hot chick #1 from the Weissebraeuhaus.

We spent the day boating at Deep Creek Lake and pretending to be pirates and/or vikings. A good time was had by all.

Blame my sister for the cheeseball frame

We decimated this in, like, 2.5 seconds. It was yummy.

Here's what it's going to say underneath Mr. Pattinson's portrait. Yes, it is supposed to be cheeseball and TOTALLY embarassing for the person who opens this. :)

This was the practice run - I like how Twilight-y the font looks. :)

Not sure if I'm going to do red, though... blogged here

My Youth Minster introduced me to Ludovico Einaudi a year ago and I've been in love ever since. As soon as I heard this song, it was like falling in love all over again.

I'm a cheeseball, sorry :)

But, if you have not listened to his music yet, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take 5 minutes and 31 seconds to listen. Or even just 30 seconds. There's even a link above so you don't have to search for it :)

Traditionally, our Nonna Bambina used to always make these delicious treats on a rainy day, and as the start of this summer has been quite rainy, one day my Aunt Marisa prepared these for us.

These are just fried sweet batter, but we can also make them with bits of apple inside, similarly to the traditional Valtellinese dish, "Sciatt" (fried cheeseballs inside a salty batter).

Matt stole KC's inflatable collar. That upset KC - she has complex and must have her collar. Matt is so awesome tho - I laughed as I went through these. Such a pair of cheeseballs :)

Yesterday we bought these from the store. They're from Cheetos and they're called Giant. They are HUGE cheese balls. They're kind of hard to eat, though. If you put the whole thing in your mouth, it kinda hurts the roof of your mouth when you eat it. I found that biting them in half was the best method, but it's a bit messy. Even better is to get it to the side of your mouth if possible and eat it like that (doesn't hurt the roof of your mouth). I probably won't buy them again because they're difficult to eat, but they make me kinda happy to see.

i saw this and couldn't believe how young she looks!

I made a Cheese Ball for Evan's party. It was pretty gross.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... It was 1989, I was in art school and most of my buddies were in rock bands or serious metal fans. I spent all my weekly income from washing semi-trucks, on lemonade and cheeseballs at the college cafeteria, gas, perms, bleach jobs, mousse and hairspray! Those were the days.
