Cheech playing with Bugsy on the backrest on the bed. Why yes, my bedtime reading is Physiology and Chemistry, even though I'm not currently taking either class. What of it?
Inspired by Jane's Addiction's song of the same name.
Standing in the shower thinking
About what makes a man
An outlaw or a leader
I'm thinking about power...
The ways a man could use it
Or be destroyed by it
This is Cheech Wizard, the best-known character of Vaughn Bode.
Part of the Tribute to Vaughn Bode wall, which is dated June 2005.
My wife attended this one, but she got amazing pics as Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong discussed their new graphic novel, “Back in Smoke.” Both reminisced about their long comedy careers (I loved their records as a kid) and Cheech mentioned his “Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Arts," opening this June in Riverside, California. Far out, maaaan…

Got this along with Frank Zappa and George Clinton. If we got pulled over with these three albums sitting in the back seat of my car the cop would search us on suspicion that we may have pot somewhere on us.
Cheech & Chong's "Up In Smoke Tour" came to ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin. Also playing that night were Tower of Power and WAR. Austin, Texas. May 31, 2013.

Buff (aka Cheech) really loves his little puppy friend! Here he is at 6 days old, getting fatter by the day!
Cheech Marin performed as a "red-neck" for his stand up at the SmokeOut Festival in San Bernardino, CA.
Grammy-Award winning comedy duo Cheech & Chong and the iconic band WAR will take the Mystic Showroom stage at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 24.
Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong released nine comedy albums from 1972 through 1985 and have been nominated for four Grammy Awards, winning Best Comedy album for Los Cochinos in 1973. Their first film “Up In Smoke” was the highest grossing comedy of 1978 and topped 100 million at the box office. Since then, they have starred in seven more films together including “Cheech & Chong’s Animated Movie,” released in 2012. Cheech & Chong’s Up in Smoke Tour includes some of their most infamous songs, including “Earache My Eye,” “Basketball Jones” and “Mexican Americans” and some of the duo’s most iconic comedic skits such as “Dave’s Not Here,” “Santa Clause And His Magic Dust” and “Sister Mary Elephant.”
For more than 40 years WAR has combined funk, jazz, R&B and rock to create their own signature sound. The band has sold more than 50 million records and has been honored with 17 gold, platinum and multi-platinum records including the triple platinum The World Is A Ghetto and the multi-platinum Why Can’t We Be Friends? WAR singles “The Cisco Kid,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” and “Low Rider” all charted in the Billboard Top 10.
Tickets to see Cheech & Chong and WAR in the Mystic Showroom are available for $54. Contact the Mystic Box Office at 952-496-6563 or visit mysticlake.com for more details.
Most writers in their time has attempted or at least thought of doing a piece with the classic 70's graffiti icon of Cheech Wizard.
This is my attempt with Jack and Yzur (The newest member of the Insomnia Familia)
Hopefully I would be getting the joined up pics to post up if not then this would have to do for now.
Shout outs to my homie Ouch and Pato.
