This was moments after sunset, the plant in foreground offered some sort of visual balance.

One of Arizona's most spectacular natural wonders are its sandstone formations. Among these are the Antelope Canyon series of slot canyons. Of these, the recently opened Canyon X offers two side by side canyons which are full of fantastic visual treats and which were, at least at my time of visit, still largely undiscovered.

Enjoy!

Blessed to work on these locations during filming of I Love Boosters

“Learning became her.

She loved the smell of the book from the shelves, the type on the pages, the sense that the world was an infinite but knowable place.

Every fact she learned seemed to open another question, and for every question there was another book.”

I have been chasing the light all week and I am bushed! I took a lot of photos during our storms the other day, which included tornado warnings all day. Luckily we didn't have much more than a lot rain.

I ordered a set of EI Wires in 6 colors. They come with a battery pack and have 3 modes (steady, blinking, and strobe). The wires are bendy but do not have a memory and are hard to rangle!

This image has two wires and I set the purple one to blink in this shot. I used another one of my Mom's glass paperweights. This one is clear. I adjusted the clarity and blacks and removed some spots.

I photograph structured urban environments where lighted interiors and passing figures suggest proximity without permanence and lean into tension within negative space.
