Today was a good day to take photos in the bathroom in our house - it has no windows and we were under a tornado watch. Now the sun is out.
I used another one of Mom's glass paperweights and the Run Forest Run glass to create the original photo. Used Lightroom to change image to B&W leaving the magenta coloring. Used Photoshop to add the overlays, textures and borders using Layer Masks.

I had such a good time starting off the New Year with my family down at the waterfront. I took so many pictures and the light was just gorgeous as the sun went down. I'm making an effort this year to shoot less on auto mode and to really experiment and learn about my camera.
