Charon vue par la sonde New Horizons lors de son passage à côté de Pluton. On peut noter que Charon ne tourne pas exactement autour de Pluton, la lune étant immense par rapport à la planète, on est plutôt sur un système dans lequel Pluton et Charon tournent ensemble autour du centre de gravité.
