Kerry Park - Seattle

Sculpture - Changing Form by Doris Chase

Kerry Park is a one of Seattle's biggest photography hotspots. As such it is often easy to feel a bit camera shy with all the expensive gear out on display. The little toy camera that could did not disappoint however. I am very impressed with the results, in particular the shades of light and dark on the sculpture. I am really beginning to like shooting with Ilford film.

Veiled Transition explores the subtle interplay between darkness and illumination, presenting a layered narrative of introspection. Indigo and black hues against white carve out a visual journey into the depths of perception, inviting a reflection on the unseen aspects of change.

This sculpture called Changing Form is by Doris Chase. It was given to the city in 1971 as a gift from the Kerry children.

I get kind of bored with pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, but I think it's beautiful, love driving on/near it and taking visitors to different spots where they can view it. I wonder if Seattleites feel the same about the Space Needle?

Do I get points for realizing I'm not the first?

Shattered Movement illustrates a moment of abrupt transformation, where fluid forms give way to crystalline structures. This visual journey captures the stark beauty of transformation, portraying a transition from smoothness to fragmented reality against the backdrop of the vast universe.
