amymaier: Can I also get the story on this, please?
mudsock: @amymaier I drove past this yesterday in fact. Interesting, isn't it?!? I will post another pic of some other things that these people have in their yard and property too. Very interesting place. When I post another pic of this place later, well, you'll know which pic it will be :)
amymaier: Hey, thanks for the story. I like to hear the stories behind all these pics from all over the country and world. The Midwest seems to have all these fun roadside things. And this is from someone's yard! :)

As part of the Summer Institute, students participate in several reverence-building activities that refresh and renew them, as well as give them ideas to take back to their classrooms & communities. Anoop has to get to know his tree only by touch, and then try to find it again.

Signs of Peace. Banners for ALL. May solidarity be found by all who take to the streets today and may they find solidarity with those they did not expect.
We will quell gun violence, racial violence, sexual violence, when we finally end the economic violence which attempts to pit each and every one of us against the other, in every moment, in every moment of our lives.
We march for our lives, every second that we are forced to struggle simply to eat, to have a place to sleep, to be healed of the maladies and malaise with which this modern age has overtaken us.
We must march for our lives, as we march for the lives of others who can not, do not march. We must march for our lives each and every day so that those who come after us, may begin to find a little sign of peace.
Or as another wise man once said, "Not Me, Us".

Art Young's Good Morning - Ninety eight years and counting of our Not-MAGA-zine on the correct side of history...
"Same As It Ever Was Saturday" is when we look back a century ago, pick an Art Young cartoon from that era, and sigh at how the issues he was battling against then, are still the issues we battle against now...
