Global Endurance Legends demonstration run action on Circuit Spa-Francorchamps during Spa-Classic 2018
For my second point of view I chose to see the wall through an experienced, adult-like perspective.
Art classes have constantly told me to see past preconceived ideas in order to view the world in terms of shapes, shadows, and values. As I have grown up I have learned to see past the literal and infer ideas based on experiences. Unlike my little brother, I know that the number joke uses word play in order to create the punch line.
Therefore, instead of using the exact form on my wall to create an image, I chose a portion of my wall that reminded me of my father. I tried to let the wall inspire my final product in as many ways as possible. I used the same value change in my image as in the picture of the wall. I also emphasized the elongated shape of my father’s torso to reflect the shape on the wall.
Unlike the child’s view point, my inspiration was not linear and was therefore much more personal. The viewers cannot see that my dad often wears a suit jacket even on sweltering summers days or that his huge curly hair is a distinct part of his appearance. They also can not see that my dad recently had a baby, Marina, with my step-mom, and that this has been on my mind a lot recently. All of these things and more contributed to take an abstract image on a wall and transform it into my final drawing.
Challenger bowling helps build confidence and self-esteem for those with special needs. Participants learn skills and challenge themselves in a fun, positive program tailored to their needs.
Here we are after completing the 5k run.

This month's challenge was to design a layout about being an Israeli - what does it mean to me?
When I thought about it, I discovered that each time I think about a daily Israeli life, the word "Army" just pops in. No wonder - I was an army brat, with a father that served 25 years in the military... I got used to hanging out with kids that have parents in the army also, used to seeing army uniform, used to go to a military camp on weekends to visit my father when he was on duty. To make this layout less "strict", I soften it a bit using smoked pink fabric and sew a little.
BTW, the buttons are real uniform buttons - there are never too many uniform buttons in an army officer's house...
The picture was taken 25 years ago - unfortunately, Israel still needs its army to survive...

I used the HA designer block Happiness Grows for the background (love this stamp). The scalloped mini-circle cards were demonstrated by Jennifer McGuire. The top circle lifts up and the messages inside are "friends," "laughter" and "smiles." I used HA spring art flowers, buttons and gems for embellishments.
Ok guys, friends, an anyone who reads this..if anyone does..Who can guess who the killer is?! >D

Year ago, someone proposed a challenge: Shoot the year 2020 with one camera and one roll of film.
The pandemic is visible in the absence of crowds, hoarding groceries, making sausages at home, in empty malls and meeting friends in video calls.
Looking back, I wish my shooting had been somehow magically coherent, but this kind of random shooting works against it. Also, I hadn't made up my mind whether I would focus on annual cycle, zeitgeist & phenomena or a personal chronicle. As a result it is a bit of each.
In August my Chinon got stuck so badly I had to switch cameras in middle-roll.
This was a fun project!
