This is a book-reader’s chaise lounge. Which begs the question, “So, what is a book-reader’s chaise lounge?”
Well, it is probably the neatest thing since buttered bread. You no longer have to choose between reading a book or getting some sun on your back. It is a conventional tanning chaise lounge. You can (with the head flap down) sit totally upright in the lounge as thought it was a chair, or you can lower the back and flip up the leg rest for more of a recliner feeling; and, of course, you can lay it flat to lay on your back. So far, it is no different from or better than any other lounge. But wait …
… If you raise the flap, the chaise lounge has a padded hole in it, much like a massage table, and it has two arm holes. And what, pray tell, are these holes for? Well, they are for book lovers! You no longer have to choose between getting some sun on your back or reading your book. You can comfortably to both. If you’re like me, it is anything but comfortable to lay on your stomach and try to read a book. Now I can lay totally flat, place my hands in the holes, and read my Kindle™.
There is a downside to it with my eyesight. I wear bifocals. I was having a difficult time angling my head in the hole and trying to maneuver the Kindle™ “just so” so that I could read through my reading lenses. Then I had a brilliant idea. I went inside and got my computer glasses. They are single-lens glasses that are strictly for reading my monitor. They worked like a charm.
Quick iPhone shot of the set and me.

1.) Whats the last movie you watched? The last movie I saw at the theatre was "King's Speech", I think. It was pretty fabulous which is probably why I remember it.
2.) Whats your favorite noise? This is a real easy one. I adore the sound of trains especially train whistles!
If given the option I would travel by train for that very reason.
3.) Do you like some kind of light on when you go to bed, or just darkness? I can sleep with or without lights on - must be my clear conscience!
4.) Whats the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? I don't consider anything I eat weird. I eat lemons like a piece of fruit - the whole thing not just a piece floating in a drink.
5.) Whats something you really want right now but don't need? I would love to have a second home in New Orleans.
6.) Whats your hair look like right now? OMG, right at this moment I have true bed head - haven't brushed it yet!
7.) Have you seen waldo? Not today!

Here she is…my surprise gift from Joyuz.
Joyuz knew how much I wanted a Momoko and what difficult a time I was having getting one I liked.
So, as a surprise, she sent me this beauty and I named her Camille Joy.
She is a bit homesick. So, Reforma gave her some bracelets, American Girl’s puppy fell in love with her and adopted her, Tiny Kitty got her some tea, and Realtor Barbie gave up her vintage lawn chair.
Genie, Genie, Genie, how can I ever thank you? I adore her.

I made these cupcakes for a bit of fun and because I was inspired by the chaise lounge that belongs to Kylie Lamberts daughter. These are butter cupcakes with butter cream and fondant. The cupcases are made of fondant also as I couldn't get any decent ones here. Everything ecxept the foil I used for the mirror is edible!
