Found this really great place today, where for a gold coin donation we could drive through a property featuring art all done with a chainsaw !

Chainsaw in the head from around 2002. This was a deliberate revisitation of the good old days of horrible goofy violent art. Ink and acrylic.
I unearth this antique chainsaw while going through some old boxes at my mom's house. I trace this contraption back to a distance Swedish relative, Uncle Sven Lockwasher, who operated a small självständig repair shop round the turn of the century. From what I can see it looks like Sven started with a house hold hack'n'saw to which he fitted 2.5 horse power 2 stroke engine originally designed to power WWII spy drones.
The"spring-drive" mechanism is made up of old lamp and clock parts. The chain was taken from an old militärcykel (Military bicycle)...can't wait to try it out!

Don't worry...only a practical Halloween joke! It was a great session with 20 women, for an advertising campaign. I was the only man. We had a party afterwards.

2012 has been very good to me in terms of my life and my new passion for photography. If I went back a year in time and saw this picture I probably wouldn't believe that I took it. Every time I pick up my camera I learn something new. I can only hope that 2013 is as good as if not better than 2012.
The best way to get models for a shoot is to tell them it will take a lot less time then it will actually take... Told my sister it would only take 5-10 minutes. Probably took 10 minutes just to find the tree I wanted her to hide behind. :) Her fiance is the Psycho with the Chainsaw.

Daisy Chainsaw were an English band, that were active between 1989 and 1995.
The band formed in 1989 after KatieJane Garside answered an advertisement placed by guitarist Crispin Gray in the music press. Their gigs included grapevines and rag dolls strewn across the stage, and Garside thrashing around in soiled gowns drinking juice from a baby bottle.[citation needed]
The band was successful with their "LoveSickPleasure" EP which included the hit single, "Love Your Money" - primarily due to prime time appearances on ITV's The Chart Show and Channel 4's The Word. However, they had to decline appearing on BBC TV's Top of the Pops because Garside had a throat infection. "Love Your Money" reached number 26 in the UK Singles Chart in February 1992.[1]
Turning down an offer to be signed to Madonna's Maverick record label, they later signed to the indie label, One Little Indian. The follow up singles "Pink Flower" (UK number 65[1]) and "Hope Your Dreams Come True" flopped, as did Eleventeen (UK Albums Chart number 62[1]). In 1993, Garside left the band.
After the departure of Garside, Daisy Chainsaw released a second album, For They Know Not What They Do, with Belinda Leith on vocals, and one more EP titled "You're Gruesome" with Crispin Gray replacing Leith before splitting up.
An episode of Roseanne mentioned the band as one of Darlene Conner's favorites and revolved around the character attending one of their concerts.
After the split of Daisy Chainsaw, a band named Dizzy Q Viper was formed, made up of previous Daisy Chainsaw members, Gray, Adams and Johnson. After Dizzy Q Viper, Vapid Dolly was created, and this band was made up Dizzy Q Viper members with the addition of Hanayo as lead vocals. The new millennium saw Garside and Gray musically reuniting to form Queen Adreena.
Our son came today with our granddaughter so he could help his dad cutting the logs up so we can finish getting them all split and stacked. Our daughter-in-law couldn't make is as her sister was in the hospital so she was visiting her. View large to see the wood bits from the chain saw.
