These musicians have for instruction to constitute a group with musicians with whom they have never played. What do they have to play? All which they want! There is no limit, no size(format). Simply of the pleasure to create something. A little as if we took musicians' handle, as if we put them in a shaker, as if we moved the whole and as if we let the chemistry make its effect. There is not more than to have a rough time,to savour !

A long day of cutting trees came to an end when the chainsaw told us it had enough.

Posing with a new chainsaw a Stihl MAGNUM MS-660 with a "small" 28 inch bar. A beautifully balanced saw weighing in at 16 pounds. Personally, I think Stihl saws are the best around, look at any tree service company and chances are they are behind a Stihl saw!

I found this saw on a stick at a grocery store in Vermillion.

I was instantly struck with how this would be cool for a martial arts movie.

Oh my, yes.

CC Week 46: background comparison

This week's challenge is all about controlling the background to make the most of our images.

Not only was this carving particularly beautiful to my eyes, I appreciated the artistic talent of the carver, who made excellent use of the natural coloration of sapwood and heartwood. No paint was used on this sculpture, only a little wood burning to darken and define.
