Saw this fellow while I was out and about Saturday. Wish the light would have been on my side

Myself and a friend were clearing out some woods in my backyard when my sister left my little cousins in my hands while she ran to the store. If you knew these kids mom you'd quickly realize that they wouldn't have even been let outside if chainsaws were present and she was around.

Leaving this topic now (at least for now ;).

Last night they were at CBTG's in St. John's.

This is Åke Herrström. A chainsaw sculptor from Norrköping. I met him on Sunday at the Berga Agricultural College. He made this eagle in no time at all and it was impressive to see him in action. He has been working in the forest for more that thirty years so he knows how to handle a chainsaw. He showed me some of his earlier sculptures, including a one to one scale Harley Davidson which took him one long summer to create. More photos in the set. To see more of Åke's work check out the photos at his web site.

Since Lego doesn't make good chainsaws, and Brickarms only makes a chainblade attachment, I decided to mod my own. There aren't any Brickarms in this mod, sadly.

Yep, that's got the itch, thanks :)
