1.9.8.9, zum 75. Geburtstag der Schweizer Luftwaffe, wurde das PC - 7 TEAM offiziell
gegründet. Als Botschafter der Luftwaffe präsentiert das Team Dynamik, Eleganz und
Präzision des Formations-Kunstfluges auf höchstem Niveau. Kunstflug im Verband mit
Propellerflugzeugen stellt höchste Anforderungen an das fliegerische Können der Piloten.
Alle Teammitglieder sind B.erufspiloten und fliegen sonst die F/A-18 H.ornet.
Seit 2.0.0.7 fliegt das PC - 7 TEAM die modernisierten PC - 7 NG mit Glas - Cockpit,
GPS und Autopilot. Von den vierzig Originalflugzeugen wurden 28 auf den neuen
Stand umgebaut.
