O Comitê Gestor da Internet no Brasil (CGI.br) finaliza as comemorações de seus 20 anos com a décima conferência guiada por seu decálogo de princípios para a governança e uso da Internet.
O princípio "Inimputabilidade da Rede" contou com a participação de Lynn St. Amour, atual presidente e CEO da Internet Matters, Pedro Huichalaf Roa, subsecretário de Telecomunicações do Chile e Pranesh Prakash, um dos fundadores e atualmente diretor de políticas no Centro para Internet e Sociedade da Índia. A conferência foi realizada no dia 10 de dezembro de 2015, no Hotel Blue Tree Premium, em São Paulo.

CGI 2025 Annual Meeting
Leaders Stage: Protecting Progress: Prevention and Management of Infectious and Non-Communicable Diseases
Over the last few decades there have been major strides in combating infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDs and recognizing that non-communicable diseases (NCDs) cause 71% of deaths globally. This session will spotlight bold, scalable solutions that harness innovation to sustain and accelerate gains in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care of infectious and NCDs – despite progress threatened by funding cuts and strained health systems. Leaders and experts will discuss collaborative strategies, equitable access to interventions, and accelerated action to manage and prevent infectious and chronic diseases.

FUNDING EARTH’S FUTURE: HOW TO SCALE CLIMATE FINANCE IN FRONTLINE COMMUNITIES
The financial investment to mitigate the climate crisis is staggering with the greatest need in frontline communities. While ongoing conversations are focused on who will bear this immense financial burden, we must support leaders who are taking creative and innovative steps toward climate resilience. Inaction is not an option when there are opportunities to develop partnerships with organizations that have shovel-ready projects and to scale innovative financing models that mobilize capital. There are adaptation and mitigation efforts happening all over the world, yet capital remains a key missing piece.

I think that AI image generation is similar in many ways to photography. The camera itself handles all the fine details, but the photographer is in charge of curating the types of images that will be created.
Ultimately, it is all about maximizing the probability that something good will be created.
This is very similar to AI image generation, in terms of the skills involved and what the human does vs. what the machine does.
You can't compare AI image generation to the process of actually making these images from scratch with 3D software or paint/pencils, where the human controls every detail.
However, I think the process really is very similar to that of photography, as I made the case for above. I think that DALL-E 3 is by far the most powerful AI image generation tool currently available.
