The hindu 'Cetho' temple at the back of Lawu mountain, central java. I feel sorry for I couldn't catch a better backdrop as the view is magnificent.
the humble and loyal guardian of Mount Merapi. He was assigned by the late HB IX as a guardian for Mount Merapi, and he did that till the end of his life. He was found dead in his house in a praying position after being swept by the hot wave. Even though he was being told to evacuate by the Sultan, he refused. Saying that it is his duty mandated by the previous sultan to guard the mountain till the end of his life.
I admire him for his humbleness and loyalty. Too bad I don' have the chance to speak to him before.
