This is how it's done: I put a glass in the sink, place a CD on top of the glass, turn on the water over the CD. Camera is on super macro with flash...point and shoot.

While searching for gold in the house I came across a stack of these CD's.
How lucky is that.
Not much to say about this shot except I did like the rainbow effect and the reflection on the counter top.
The Month is almost half over. It's time to really search out the Gold now.
These are (if you can't tell) the same shots scanned onto a CD by the mini lab. What a shitty job. I looked at the images on the CD first and was horrified not only by the over exposure but what looked like a scratch about a quarter of the way up each shot in every shot on the CD. I was sure I had a sharp edge scratching the film or a hair in the shutter mechanism.
Then I looked at my prints and there aren't any scratches/hairs. The scanner the mini lab used has a pubic hair in it from the the narf technician who spends his day jacking off to whatever porn he can find in the work flow...

The first song, Only Hope by Mandy Moore, is one of my favorite songs. For a project in me Digital Photojournalism class we had to pick a them and choose songs to go with it. I automatically wanted to do that specific song and made the CD around it. Ashley McMurtrey Photo.

My final job for Highline is to make a DVD movie slideshow for them for their end-of-season banquet. I am supposed to use half of my images, and half of theirs. I just received 10 CD-Roms in the mail with their images that i can choose from. Sadly, i don't have action shots of all their teams (i didn't do any U18s tournaments this season, and didn't do their U17s or one of their U16s team, nor their U12s or U13s) This is a picture from one of the parents (after i scrubbed and edited it)
