I intended making a quick copy of what is left of this CD last night though sadly it went horribly wrong.
1. Insert CD.
2. Heard weird noise.
3. Heard loud BANG!
4. Get screwdriver.
Day 47 of 365 - A few weeks ago our carrot seedlings were all scrapped out of their container onto the floor, complete with lots of the soil they were in. I initially assumed it was a cat, and that somewhere amongst it all there would be a poo! It may sound silly, but my eldest son and I were really rather upset about it, and actually each shed a tear or two! I felt like abandoning the whole thing, but decided there was a chance they may live if I put them back in, and I could fish out the cat's mess. As I refilled the container a squirrel ran behind me - the mystery was solved, and I felt much better about it being a squirrel! It did it again a couple of days later too.
I spotted a CD my partner had thrown in the bin, and wondered if it may serve as a deterrent. It has worked wonders. I often look at the rays of colours emanating from it's centre, but today, after a long day of non-stop rain it took on a whole new look!
