He was anything but arrogant to me. He was charming and playful, and I was even thinking about adopting him. I think he should be Prince Charming or Elegance or something like that. The proportion is way off in my photo, because his paw is much closer to my lens that the rest of him, but it was so sweet. It was as if one foot was black. His facial markings are cute as a bug's ear, and he even has a little dot on his chin. He was pretty wiggly because another person, a new volunteer at Heartland had been playing with him, when I asked if I could interrupt for a couple of pictures, but I like the picture anyway, because he was so cute.

(7410poshsezshewasntbitingtheeastergrass) I caught her trying to nibble on the pink Easter grass. LOL
(2441axl&slash2grayorbluegrayboykittens) Note on October 16. 2008: Slash got adopted a week or so ago. Axl was still available as of a day or so ago. I'm not sure in the picture which was which, but they were both adorable and beautiful boy kittens.
I think Edmuind is in the basket and he looks like his little head is falling off. I think he was just trying to see what was going on. What was going on was me taking their picture. He and his brother, the one on the right in back is Dantes, I think. The little tabby girl with white socks is Mercedes, I think. I don't believe she is related to them, but may be.
A week or so ago I was looking up Turkish Angora cats on the Internet. Someone had suggested that Cerulean might be Turkish Angora. What I found out from my research is that Cerulean most likely a Turkish Angora. The articles talked about how sometimes they have blue eyes, and when they have both eyes blue, they are almost always totally deaf. Cerulean has both blue, and he is not deaf.
There was this sweet little kitty, Aaron, at the Heartland Humane Society, and I thought at first that he had both eyes blue. I didn't try to do any testing for hearing as there was a lot noise and people coming and going. I'm happy to say some people were adopting pets.
In the articles I read, it said some Turkish Angora cats (and it talked about white ones, though it said they are not always white) have one blue eye and one green. Personally, and this is just my preference; I'm not really fond of odd eyes on animals. But this article said it is prized as a cat that has, get this, been touched by Allah. So little Aaron has apparently been touched by Allah. After taking several pictures of him, I did notice the eye color was different.
Also, I read that when one eye is blue and one green that the deafness occurs only in one ear, and that would be the ear where the blue eye is.
I think Aaron here is a cutie pie. I have no idea if he is deaf in one ear or not. I do think he is Turkish Angora or if nothing else, a mix of it.
I guess Cerulean hasn't been touched by Allah, but I am touched by Cerulean, and that is what matters to me.
I'm going to put this story with lots of the pictures of Aaron (I like to call him "Hotch" form Aaron Hotchner's character on Criminal Minds. That way, no matter which picutre of him someone looks at, they can read about this if they want. But for the Pictures with Stories (set) and the Pictures with Stories (pool), I'll just choose this one picture to enter.

(8574sweettaterboygray&whitecutiepie) He really doesn't have googly eyes. That was just me dinking around with his blurry picture. He is a sweetie pie, and he needs a forever home.
Hersheys was the largest kitten in the room with Viola and Tummy Spots (I don't know tummy Spots' real name) and Mic, Mia, Matti, and so on. She really did not fit in my basket, but was determined to be in there. She was so wanting some attention and affection. Bless her heart. It is probably not that she is so much larger than the other kittens, more likely that she is just a little older. My guess is she came in by herself, whereas most of the other kittens had a littermate or two or three for company. (IMG_0634hersheysgirlqtuxedocat)
Just look at the grin on this little cutie-pie.

(3217crashboycreamsiclekittenforestgreencollar) He is still cautious, but posed a bit for me. He has medium long hair, and is pretty handsome.
Juliet is a little sweetpea. I am not sure if she is an older kitten, or a younger cat, because she seemed very young and small, but not tiny, if you get my drift. Nice temperament. And she needs a forever home.

NOTE added March 5, 2015. This same cat, now named Blizzard Belle is at Heartland Humane Society in Corvallis, Oregon has my three photographs of her on the web site. Tonight, I have asked Heartland to give me credit/copyright. I'm sure they will.
and make sure you are still alive. LOL. I think this little sweetheart is named Andalusia. She is at the Heartland Humane Society in Corvallis, Oregon USA.
A few hours after posting her, I replaced the picture with the same kitten in same basket and same little blanket, but since I hadn't done a very good job of covering up my hand holding the basket, I decided not to even try to remove my hand. It is too hard to get around every little whisker. For me, anyway, it is. Delina

I call these guys the Orange
Blossom Special because they are little orange tabby creamsicle type kittens. There were 5, but Russet, a girl, got adopted while I was taking pictures of these 4. Some of the series only have 1, 2 or 3 out of the 4 in the picture.
Happy New year Folks! This little girl Kitten, Minka, needs a home. She is at Heartland Humane Society in Corvallis, Oregon. If you live in the area, pay her a visit. If you don't live in the area, please don't call up and tell them you want Minka shipped to you in New York, or someplace. They don't do long distance adoptions. Please just be mindful that there are cats and dogs all over the country who are cute as can be, and need a forever home. There are probably some near you.
Light mocha colored, medium long fur and blue green eyes.

(1703-2calicosisterkittensmexicanfoodnames) They have names of Mexican Foods like Churro & Chalupa and Enchilada and things like that.
Whoever adopted this little sweetie guy, Daniel the Tabby Kitten, got a handful. He was cute, inspiring, curious, loving, bouncy, and just plain fun. Lots of personality. I'm fairly sure that Daniel has gotten a forever home by now.
Oh, and facetiously, I say he is a member in good standing of the "Society of Kittens with Tight Red Collars".

For the tabby groups, I hope this little orange tabby is OK. If not, let me know, and I will remove her.
(3770ithinkthistabbywithwhitepawsiswylde) He was in with Oscar, but Oscar wouldn't settle down for a portrait shoot. Wylde is much calmer.
(7140harlequinboycatmissedsometailresam) Large, Friendly, Soft, Tuxedo Cat named Harlequin. I believe he got adopted long ago.
