This was pretty awesome. I like catamarans. It was nice and smooth sailing. We went fairly quick for a little while which was fun, and we got back just in time for an awesome lobster lunch on the beach.

I shot this sunset while in Aruba on March 5th.
There was actually still a bit more light than it appears, but wanted it to "feel" like a sunset should, while keeping the sailboat (a catamaran) and foreground waters in focus. So I shot it at f/14. At the same time, I wanted the waves to look a bit glassy, but I was shooting handheld (I didn't bring my tripod, as I wasn't expecting to shoot the sunset that day), so I compromised and set the exposure to 1/200th sec.
To keep a nice smooth look, ISO was set at 100. It was still a slight bit noisier than I thought it needed to be, so I added a little noise reduction in post.
Shot with a Canon 7D and an EF28-135mm lens (at 33mm) and tweaked a bit with Lightroom.
I spent 10 days sailing with friends around Saint-Vincent and Grenadines in December. That was an awesome experience. The sailor was in the same fun mood as our friends group, so we all had a great time!
Our last day of our cruise in Saint-Vincent. We took the Soufrière volcano hike to the top. Fortunately, we had a great weather and had just few clouds at the top. This was one of the best hike in Caribbean I did!
