People at dawn, Oyster Point Park, Hunter's Point.

They were here to dance. This was the annual Brass Tax Renegade, which starts at 4:20 a.m. the Sunday closest to Halloween, and goes until 1 p.m.

Breakfast is served, as is killer breakbeat music. Although the music is the best, before the sun comes up it's pretty frickin hard to dance on the grass, especially because you're surrounded on all sides by water (a spit peninsula), which drops off pretty sharply into marsh and standing water.

One year we got visited by a kayaker.

Trying on ridiculous hats at Target & trying not to get caught taking pictures. Here for you in all their orangy, unedited goodness.

Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church

We picked up a couple of point & shoots on clearance this weekend; a Lumix that KT is currently using & this hideous yet fun pink Casio.

I never really liked P&S because of their limitations. I did not get into digital photography until I could afford an inexpensive DSLR but now I find myself enjoying the portability and inconspicous nature of the little thing. Expect more randoms & snapshots here. This will be fun.

Mount Tibidabo

We crossed into the Italian Alps for less than an hour.

from the bus tour

The party starts at 4:20/ We got there at approximately 4:50/5:00/5:15. I spell out the time this way because we parked at around 4:40 up by the Post Office, then it took a good ten minutes to walk to Oyster Point parking lot, then another fifteen to walk the length of Oyster Point peninsula and get to the actual party.
