I ended up in a "lonely" theme this week without even realizing it and I am going to just go with it till Friday. Yes it started as a bad thing but now it is a challenge of minimalism or to make loneliness appear in a city filled with people.
I actually got told that I should focus on something more uplifting, or maybe I misunderstood but the reality is that I like focusing on the subject maybe it will shed some light on why one is alone or why one should never be :)
Counting down to Christmas without my family in the city. Just bought all my Christmas presents and mailed them to them from the web. So ironically the subject is directly correlated to my life. I used an online shopping cart :)
Oh look at the shadows they are great, they look like stains on the wall.
Two small boys, one seated and other in pulling position at the cart.

Simple frame construction with 1/8in thick down tubes inset and welded into the framing. This made for a super strong and square result. The steel framing was leftovers from another project. The steering section: I used hime joints at each wheel to allow for any misalignments. The main sterring arm is solid and was milled. Tires are just $10 wheelbarrow tires from harbor freight. The top was drilled out with the intention of using the holes for accessory attachments like scuba tank racks ... The finish on the cart is a spray on harsh environment epoxy in light grey.

More from our last walk of the summer holidays - my youngest son wanted one more walk at the beach before going back to college.
This is a family favourite walk. From the car park at Happisburgh atop the cliffs, along the beach to the ramp for the Cart Gap lifeboat station and then back to the car park along the cliff top. (Sometimes we wander on to Eccles or even Sea Palling first depending on just how much we as a family have to discuss!)
It's not the prettiest beach even in Norfolk, but given the authorities decision not to fight coastal erosion, the sights are ever-changing.
And it's not only the scenery - bits appear to have been added and taken away from this impromptu creation every time we go past. It may be all the work of one individual but I like to think it's crowd-sourced.
