While carpooling with some friends, I opted to make a detour through Springdale to try and get some pictures of the boiler in it's half-demo'd state. The driver didn't mind the detour, but didn't want to stop. This is the only picture of about 10 that came close into focus with the other 9 being plagued with mild motion blur.

This is traffic on a Thursday at 3:00pm. Who are all of these people on the road. Where are they going? Why aren't people carpooling? Where are all of the hybrid cars? I'm very surprised that more battery operated or less pollution causing cars aren't around. I honestly figured we would be flying by now. The only plus side to urban sprawl is that we no longer have to drive as far as we used to in order to get what we need. Still, our demand is so high we are driving every day just to go pick up one or two things.
