Yesterday I did a bushwalk to Gap Creek Falls in Main Range National Park, from Cunningham's Gap, south-east Queensland, with friends and family. It is an almost 10km return walk through grass tree/eucalyptus forest with small patches of rainforest and lots of birdlife including bell birds and whipbirds. I also saw a female bower bird and a large carpet python across the track.

With all the warm weather, there were a few pythons about, I found this one was basking in the sun in one of our paddocks.
