“The river moves, but it follows a path. When it tires of one journey, it rubs through some rock to forge a new way. Hard work, but that's its nature.” - Kekla Magoon
Came across this beautiful setting on a walk between Dedham in Essex & Flatford in Suffolk.

Really enjoyed shooting in the dark, the late night fog on Saturday night really helped me deliver a spooky image! 💀
At times I like to check the weather for low cloud cover, its at these times you can get the moody dark skies that add drama to an image.
It's the weekend, enjoy whatever you are doing .

Archaic (II) is another image from Sunday’s woodland wander in the Peak District. I spotted this scene after I had packed my camera away and was on my way back to the car, interestingly I grabbed my phone for an Instagram stories image but was inspired by the incredible light and mist still lingering - it was time to set up the camera, again and I’m so glad I did.

"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow" –Audrey Hepburn
Beautiful house & gardens of Ickworth House which is a National Trust property
located near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.
I was hoping to capture some nice red clouds over the Ladybower reservoir in Peak district, UK as the forecast said, but it never happend :) Instead I got these stormy clouds with some rain in the background :) Still a very nice place to visit
The House in the Clouds is a water tower in Thorpeness, Suffolk, England.
It was built in 1923 to receive water pumped from Thorpeness Windmill, and was designed to improve the looks of the water tower, disguising its tank with the appearance of a weatherboarded building more in keeping with Thorpeness's mock Tudor and Jacobean style, except seeming to float above the trees.
In 1977, the water tower was made redundant by a mains water supply to the village, and additional living space was created. In 1979, the main water tank was removed to fully convert the building into a house.
The building currently has five bedrooms and three bathrooms; it contains a total of 85 steps from top to bottom and is around 70 ft (21 m) high.
It has been a Grade II Listed Building since 1995.
Ickworth House is a National Trust property located near Bury St Edmunds.
The house, built between 1795 and 1829, was formerly the chief dwelling of an estate owned by the Hervey family, later Marquesses of Bristol, since 1467. The building was the creation of Frederick Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol and Bishop of Derry, who commissioned the Italian architect Antonio Asprucci to design him a classical villa in the Suffolk countryside.
On this particular day I met up with my good friend Philip to take some autumn photography in the Peak District. Whilst I did take some photographs of silver birch trees in the woodland, this shot was probably my favourite of the day.
It reminds me of a photo you’d see taken from Zion National Park; typically the colours and textures coming from the quarry walls. Small trees grow out of the earth through small cracks in the walls here, I really liked the shape of this one and the colours were really popping!
Ickworth House is a National Trust property located near Bury St Edmunds. The house has amazing architecture, beautiful gardens and wonderful grounds to explore.

Lavenham Guildhall is a timber-framed municipal building in Lavenham in Suffolk.
The Guildhall is a Grade I listed building has been called one of the finest timber-framed buildings in Britain.
It was built around 1530 by the Guild of Corpus Christi, a religious organisation of local merchants. It was used by the Guild as a meeting place until the organisation was dissolved in 1560.
It was originally built as a religious meeting place for merchants who grew wealthy as the cloth trade boomed, over the centuries the Guildhall has also been used as a prison, workhouse, chapel, inn, school and social club for US troops stationed nearby during the Second World War.
The streets of Lavenham were used as a background for the scenes in Godric's Hollow in the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Lavenham Guildhall was transformed into Harry Potter's parents' derelict house and in the film, Harry visits his parents' graves and their house in Godric's Hollow.
"I never weary of great churches. It is my favorite kind of mountain scenery. Mankind was never so happily inspired as when it made a cathedral." - Robert Louis Stevenson
Salisbury Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in Salisbury, considered one of the leading examples of Early English architecture.
The main body was completed in only 38 years, from 1220 to 1258. The cathedral has the tallest church spire in the United Kingdom (123 m or 404 ft).
The cathedral has the largest cloisters of any British Cathedral.
The cloisters were started as a purely decorative feature only five years after the cathedral building was completed, with shapes, patterns, and materials that copy those of the cathedral interior.
The church of St Mary's in East Bergholt, Suffolk will forever be associated with the painter John Constable. This is the very heart of Constable Country, and the artist grew up here in the village, a short stroll from the church. Constable painted the church on numerous occasions, and his paintings provide a fascinating glimpse at this historic building in centuries past.
