These large, blue butterflies are very elusive. To capture the shiny blue of their wings you have to snap them in flight, but they move very fast and erratically to avoid predation.

Visitors to Late Shift Extra: Salon de Lumière explored film photography with a classic Lomography camera in our Captured on Camera workshops. They shot with 35mm film to create fantastic multiple exposures.

While I was driving, I pointed the camera, snapped and this was the result. SP 1195, a SW900E backs its passenger special into Sunil station on the Niles Canyon Railway.
