Some screen captures of the work done during the two day Processing Paris Workshops 2011 at La Fonderie de L'Image. These are various prototypes of physics simulations which was the main theme and subject of this year's Masterclass led by Harmut Bohnacker.

I see 'roadkill' as a metaphor for human habitation, in all it's glory and destructiveness. let's face it, roadkill did not exist before humans arrived, and roads were bulit.
Aboriginal connectiveness to the land, environment and management i have depicted by a "Kangaroo Man". This is based is based on a visit to Uluru and surrounding area's where I met an Aboriginal man who had been initiated into most aspects of tribal lore, including having been given his spirit or totem animal-the Red Kangaroo. Lessons of compassion, brotherhood and respect are all wound up in this man's complex spiritual life. I find the intimate, almost casual association this man had between the physical and the metaphysical fascinating- and have produced a number of sculptures depicting the "Kangaroo Men" . The spirituality is manafested in the priest like robes, and the book, representing knowledge and how we should open our ears and eyes to ancient wisdom.

Capture Orlando is a photography group created with the idea of having events where everyone can learn, improve their skills, network, meet new people, and have fun. This group is for photographers, models, makeup artists and hair stylists of all experience levels. A new photo shoot with a different theme is organized every month.
As mentioned in one of my previous Basilisk photos, I got the close-up pictures by going around to the back of the glass terrarium and sticking my lens right next to the semi-reflective glass coating. In this photo I played around a bit with the reflection, while still managing to grab a nice picture of the main subject.
