This camera shop may have been closed some years, but the windows are still capturing images.

Given a bright treatment.

Capturing hearts is what Lucy does best. She's a sweet little dog with lots of love to give and just loves her photo being taken.

The Incas used this reservoir for astronomical observations.

I captured this exposure just after sunset, when most of the stars had made an appearance in the sky. The Seven Sisters star cluster (the Pleiades) can be seen to the top left. I did some post production work to bring out the sunset colours and to enhance the stars.

She thpought she was out trying to get a capture of the sun, headed to sleep, but little did she know that she was part of the bigger picture.

The photographer on the left and the black column on the right balance the frame. The out of focus areas show a similar color scheme, interrupted only by the light spots on the hair, shoulders, and the rail on the right.

Treasures passed down from one generation to the next often are resigned to a life spent in cardboard boxes. There is just so much space for all the collections that each person finds worthy of keeping. However, I've discovered that items that held such pleasure for someone half a century ago can also win my heart. Recently I unpacked some of my mother-in-law's antique perfume bottles. I found myself surprised by the reflected colors in my viewing lens.

These beautiful black bellied whistling ducks have always presented a challenge to capture in flight. You must have sufficient light to capture the details and especially under the wing but also they are fast . This was captured of one flying very close filling the frame. One thing they certainly know when they are coming as they are usually whistling as they fly !!

Wishing a beautiful and blessed Sunday !
